FORMULA 1™ is coming to Hockenheimring from 20-22 July 2012
Formula 1 is not only considered the highest level of auto racing – it is also the world’s largest annual organized sporting event that consistently fascinates and entertains a wide spectrum of fans The sport offers a tremendous combination of raw power, breathtaking speeds, subtle technique and on-track action, that test the limits of both driver and technology. .
1970 saw the start of an action-filled history of Formula 1 racing at Hockenheim, but the Hockenheimring is more than just a race event – it is a unique experience for people of all ages. While the professional drivers compete on the legendary “Motodrom”, spectators will enjoy an array of entertainment off track. The race weekend offers a range of available activities, including taxi-rides and bus tours of the raceway circuit, live entertainment, as well as lottery drawings for the chance to win special prizes. And of course, the party atmosphere will be in full swing at the traditional campgrounds surrounding the circuit.
If a VIP experience is preferred, interested parties can also take advantage of select hospitality packages on offer, which include exclusive access to elegant lounges in the Paddock Club, a range of fine dining venues and other special amenities, not to mention a breathtaking vantage point from which to view the race.
A special highlight to this year’s German Grand Prix is the participation of five German drivers, including two-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel and seven-time World Champion Michael Schumacher.
