The countdown is on for the German Grand Prix in Hockenheim. From the 20th until the 22nd of July 2012 Mercedes-Benz and fans will be celebrating 111 years of Mercedes Motorsport with an exciting programme of events and plenty of surprises.
This year marks the 111th anniversary of Mercedes Motorsport, which began with the first ever Mercedes victory at the “Nice Speed Weeks” in 1901. Nico Rosberg has already made this a very special anniversary year by clinching the first modern-day Silver Arrow win in China in his 111th Formula One race – which is also the 111th Mercedes Grand Prix win ever. And there are just as many reasons to come to Hockenheim!
There is lots in store for visitors on and around the Mercedes-Benz grandstand with pit stop competitions, shows, live music and interview rounds with our Formula One drivers Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg, double Formula One world champion Mika Häkkinen, tennis legend Boris Becker and many more.
Mercedes grandstand ticketholders can look forward to a unique driving experience in the Driving Safety Centre next to the grandstand. They can be one of the first to test drive the brand new A-Class and have the opportunity to test the safety circuit with a professional driver at the wheel.
Rain or shine, Mercedes grandstand guests will be able to enjoy the best views of the race track from their covered seats, looking out onto the parabolic curve, the nail-biting braking manoeuvres on the hairpin turn and the challenging series of turns directly in front of the Mercedes grandstand. About one third of the entire race track is directly visible from the Mercedes grandstand. Guests can follow the rest of the action on the large screen opposite the grandstand.
Get your tickets for the Mercedes grandstand now (3 days from €299), also available with a parking space next to the grandstand (from €99), online at
